Soderberg would be awesome, but we can't afford to give anyone a contract over 700k unless we make a trade.

Agreed. If Kovalchuk is willing to take $1M or less for one year, it's a no brainer. I rather Kovalchuk playing with KK vs Byron or Lehkonon. Pretty sure Armia is going to be with Evans. Kovalchuk also helps our PP!

Need to trade Weal and replace his cap hit with a lesser AAV in Kovalchuck. Or trade Byron and sign Hoffman for one year.
