The one player I did not want to see dealt this year was Brent Pedersen who as you know is a Carolina draft pick. Really sad to see him go.
Does everything you ask for and wont ever cheap you on ice time.
No he will never live up to the expectation of a top OHL pic but I have grown to love Brent for what he is. Someone who is capable and responsible in all areas of the ice.
He was a perfect candidate next year to return. Lots of people think it isn't likely but I don't think he makes the jump next year. And also was my pic for captain this year and next year.
He does all the little things right, and I think has more of a scoring touch than his stats show. He's big, physical, and plays a 200 ft game.
