All we care about is the Rays anyway... wait.I’m jealous as a leafs fan at how quiet it’s been around point. Well done.
Don't Point at me. But I can see your Point. The next 1,000 posts should just be about figuring out a title.

Sticking Point. From everything we've seen since the season ended, there wasn't a question of whether or not a deal was going to get done, so I don't think there's as much drama around Point. It's quiet cause there's just not much to report on. Both sides want a deal and it seems like term is the sticking point they're working through right now.
Eventually one of these big dominoes are going to fall (Point, Marner, Rantanen) and then we'll see everyone else fall in shortly after I bet.
The next 1,000 posts should just be about figuring out a title.
We'll get that title at some Point
Jelly donutJust so you know, I got the greatest Point pun ready to launch any second, but it requires a certain trigger phrase from another poster. It could take years for someone to come up with it but I am willing to wait.

Why are you even reading this trash? I know it's the off season but God damn, no one should be so desperate to go to hockeybuzz

Lul. The cost on a Point trade would be absolutely astronomical. No team is that stupid.
Montreal doesn't have the assets to do it, I doubt Ottawa is going to give up what it'd take and we know damn well Yzerman isn't giving up what it'd take on a team that isn't ready to compete.
