I see he is having a terrific playoff offensively, but I was curious about his defensive role. Was he a big factor in shutting down the Blades and sweeping them? If anyone who has been watching Kootenay in these playoffs, I'd be curious to know how he has been playing all around.

As I said in another thread he is an all around guy. Shutdown the Schenn line, played the PP and the PK.

    One word. Amazing.

Was hands down the best player of the series. I've always liked him, but this kid is dominant.

His playing style reminds me of Chris Pronger. He's big, strong, can skate, can pass, bomb of a shot. People just bounce off him when they try and hit him.

    He does it all.

    Braydon McNabb

How good will this guy be?

15 points in 12 games in the playoffs.

    6 foot 4, 210 pounds

Drafted in the third round in 2009, what should I expect as a Sabres fan from this guy?

Will his game transition to the pros at all?

When I saw him earlier this year I was a bit concerned about his skating. He's so big that he was a little clumsy. But he looked MUCH stronger in the series against Saskatoon. There were absolutely ZERO flaws in those 4 games that I saw from him.

I think he could end up turning into something like a Braydon Coburn. But like I've said elsewhere, I think he could turn out much better than that.

Offensively, he executes slowly. So, I wouldnt expect big numbers in the NHL. Feet seem a little slow. I think he could be a defensive presence though.

Would Brayden McNabb be similar to Ryan Sproul of this years draft?
