I think it would be wise to get his name on a contract for 4+ years. I think points will start coming. He's around the puck a lot and plays big minutes with top players. Eats up so much space with that wing span and skating....

I was wondering if tonights game was the most minutes he played tonight but then found he had played over 28 minutes against Ottawa. That is crazy

Those are bargain prices for what he brings and if he adds those points at 4.5 mill

If I'm Cassidy, I'm sitting Carlo's ass on the bench the final 2-3 games of the season, just to make sure lightning doesn't strike again for the third time. A healthy Carlo could be the difference between a close series and one where we win comfortably; he's playing THAT good right now.

I'd be happy to sign him long term even with his 3 points. John Moore has 9 points (in 6 more games), which is 3x as many, but still only 6 more points in absolute terms. I don't think it is a big deal, especially where we have some offensive D now.

I also think he will average out as a 15-25 point guy. I've seen some nice anticipation from him lately.

all totaled, 6-23-29 in 231 games... or 0.12 ppg.

and Chara was a -61 in those 4 seasons.

Carlo is big and can skate and getting more and more confident.I forget only 3rd season sometimes now.If your a forward on other team you cannot look forward to facing him all nite with that size and mobility .

The way I look at it Carlo is the hidden 1st rounder and The reach of 2015 draft.

So Zboril, DeBrusk, Carlo in the 1st round and Senyshyn in the 2nd round is pretty good in my books.
