  1. Brad Boyes franchise record for the longest point streak by a rookie came to an end at 15 games last night.

It wasn't that much of a surprise that the streak came to an end vs. their bitter conference rivals the Chicago Blackhawks.

It's utterly amazing how many of the teams season low-lights have happened when facing the Hawks.

Worst Bad Beat - Day 23 vs the Hawks the Wings outshot them by a whopping 42-18 and yet the game ended in a 4-4 tie :amazed:

Most shorthanded goals against - The Wings have rarely given up short handed goals yet the Hawks have had two mutiple shorthanded goal games against the Detroit. In fact the 5 shorthanded goals Chicago scored in two games is more than the Wings have given up in all their other games combined.
In the game the Hawks scored 3 SHG one came in each of the 3 periods :(

Most goals against in a game - Pittsburgh holds this record but the Blackhawks have two games that are tied for the second most at 7

On the upside, last nights 3-2 victory over Chicago tied the season series at 3-3-1 with the final meeting coming up on Day 127.
