Wonder how McD's foot is doing...
Hopefully he's not playing road hockey for Christmas break.
Hopefully Wayne is over for Christmas dinner.Hopefully his dad convinces him to shoot more often...
Is ROW the first tie breaker? or is it head to head. All Oilers wins have been ROW , and 4 teams they are behind have less including the willd card at 14, I have a gut feeling the ROW will be huge at end of season
Pretty sure it is ROWIs ROW the first tie breaker? or is it head to head.
If they play like this for the rest of the season, but don't leapfrog other teams, they will be one of the best teams to not make the playoffs in a long time. I would say they are better than the worn out Pens right now by a long shot.
Pretty sure it is ROW
Making the playoffs wouldn't be that difficult as long as we are playing at a playoff pace. We're only 4 points out of it right now, and we're still 6 games away from the halfway point.
If we deserve to make it, we'll make it. There isn't a lot of ground to have to make up really.
Interestingly, in order to finish at 94 points, it would require a 103 point pace for the rest of the year, which is what they did last season.
The Oilers went 29-14-3 after the Christmas break last year. If they do it this year that's 97 points and they might snag third place in the division.
Well as an update, we now have lots 5 of the last 6, and are in 6th last place.
That was 2 weeks ago.Following up our 4 game win streak with this crap IMO has put the final nails in the Oilers playoff chances coffin.
Had they lost 1 or 2 and then won 4 more in a row I wouldn't have been ready to throw in the towel. That was 2 weeks ago.
The season was finished by Halloween and since then they haven't even sniffed a playoff spot.Had they lost 1 or 2 and then won 4 more in a row I wouldn't have been ready to throw in the towel.
