Yep. Hence why I'd be willing to give up a Top 6 winger for a 2nd.

Bruins continue to pull NHL caliber defenseman out of their farm system every single year and people still say they have an empty cupboard. They don't have high end flashy prospects because they never pick high but they know how to draft and develop Defenseman.

Granlund is probably your best value acquisition from us. You don't have the pieces to get Forsberg, and Arvidsson is not as good as Granlund is, but would cost a lot more.

I mean.... what assets are they going to trade to get a Forsberg or Arvidsson tier of player?


Arvidsson is on a phenomenal contract for what he brings to the table, and especially in the current league climate that kind of contract carries even more value than normal.


And with Forsberg he is a top tier winger, the price to get that kind of winger is certainly not cheap.


I really don't see the future assets in Boston to beat other teams looking at these guys.

He's not untouchable, but whether we have him w/Zib -- a proven combo -- or Zib is moved due to his expiring contract --- CK stays for now. Beast factor not to be ignored.
