Top 6 forward? Lol he’s having trouble enough being effective as a third line guy. He has very limited value. He’s a small small add on. Not the main piece in any deal. If he’s included in a deal for Kreider, he’s most likely the 3rd most valuable asset going back to the Rangers. Something like Studnicka or Frederic or Beecher, Vaakanainen, Heinen and a conditional 2nd.

Heinen alone is unlikely to return a top-6 forward. I think Bjork would get a lot more interest....and Bjork with pick/prospect would be competitive offer for most the forwards still on the market.

I do like it when people try and hoodwink fans of other teams on the trade board. There’s no reason to call him a top 6 forward, even if somebody here believes you and says yes it’s not like that makes it happen in the real world. Just call it like it is. He’s a reasonably young defensive 3rd liner. That has value

A totally solid NHLer. He looked like he could be more when he put up 47 points from the 3rd line as a rookie. But, he never built on that. And he is the whipping boy for Bruins fans because instead of becoming a 55-60 point guy, he became a 30 point guy.

He is a defensively minded 3rd liner who isn't physically gifted. He is smart and has a good stick. He is extremely versatile. When they through him on the 1st line when Pasta was out he was PPG. He can fit playing with anyone. He can fit with anyone, but he doesn't add much to the line beyond making the smart play. So if you throw him with Marchand and Bergeron, he will put up points getting touches on the cycle, but he will never drive the play.
