Boston needs experience on the 3rd and 4th lines.

An addition like Kuraly (a former Bruins) could add value to the bottom six.

With a contract that ends next year at 2.5m His experience would help the team.

Boqvist is doing mighty fine on the 4th line C roll and has about 2/3 the cap hit

This is a weird one because Kuraly has been much better in Columbus than he was in Boston, leaving aside one hot playoff run. He takes much harder minutes in Columbus. He's an important leader on the team, so it doesn't really make sense to move him. Boston can also find better use of their cap.

Thing is, the Bruins don't need 4th liners. They actually have a really good depth of them. Their needs are at the top and on defense, so it doesn't make any sense to bring in Kuraly.

Having a guy to take some 3rd period with the lead work would be good. And he would be a good mentor for Beecher. But, with no cap space, Kuraly isn’t a guy the Bruins should be trying to move out current roster players to fit. Come summer I’d give Columbus a call tho, but I think he has more value to them than his on ice value.
