Boston and Washington have been first in their divisions since pretty much start of year - and unlike the other 2 division leaders they have a decent lead on 2nd place. Also - both were among the small list of teams expected to be top contenders this year - so unlike an Edmonton or Arizona where you might wonder if they can maintain their pace all year - the idea that Boston and Washington could continue to do well doesn't seem too far fetched.

Tampa is having a really bizarre season so far. But if they win their 3 games in hand - that leaves them 7 points back of Boston with 50 games to go.

If NYI win their 4 games in hand - they are only 1 point back of Washington.

Lots of other good teams in both divisions who could also make a run to the top - and of course Washington and/or Boston could falter a bit and allow others to catch up.

So what's your prediction - do both teams win division or no?

Depends if Boston remembers how to score more than 2 goals in a game.

I'd say its likely but still wary of Tampa turning it on.

I think both finish 1st. Boston would need to lose a few in a row and they just havent done that this year.
