Probably not a big difference maker either way, but i really don’t understand plugging Carr in for Sprong tonight
Not a fan of the lines in general. That said I’m assuming there’s method to Lavi’s madness.

not good bob

It’s definitely a reason for concern, although if you look at the actual playoff-bound teams (as of right now) we’re 7-6-3, or at .653 points percentage and just on the right side of regulation wins/losses. the season. Our biggest threat so far has actually been the NYR, and Boston’s win tonight makes it slightly less likely the Rags make the playoffs. We definitely need to improve, but a narrative that we’re awful against the teams likely heading into the playoffs isn’t necessarily correct.

We’re suddenly not scoring 5v5 goals, yet we’re still defensively weak. You have to think the coaching staff have adjusted things too far, and messed with the line chemistry too frequently.

Couldn’t get it going 5v5, some weird goals. It’s hard to tell if this is a good Caps team or not, lots of guys going through the motions. Shultz has been a bright spot but looked pretty bad last night. Eller has been non existent since returning from injury. Forechecking looks terrible and no pressure on teams breakouts, another 1st round exit?!?

Poor performance.

If the Bruins don't take half a dozen moronic performance we would have been shut out for 2nd game in a row.

Atleast the Rangers lost too and we have the Sabres tomorrow.
