That's fine, but you're not getting. Matt Duchene to convince Tavares to stay for that. Matt returns a better package as a pure rental a year and a half from now.

Ill take that bet. At the 2019 trade deadline Duchene will be traded for the more than the Equivalent of 3 First round picks and a 2nd. What are the terms?

He was responding to the Bellows + 2019 2nd round pick offer.

so youre turning it into.....bellows, calgarys first ('18), long islands first ('18), and a second from long island for matt duchene? not in this ****ing lifetime pal.

at this point in time, i would reluctantly offer bellows and calgarys second ('19) and nothing more.

and if it wasn't clear before, Matt Duchene is officially the most undervalued player on HF. (we're used to it, Paul Stastny had that title in 2014 and Ryan O'reilly did in 2015)

you're kidding yourself if you think 3 first round picks for duchene is undervaluing him

Op another stupid proposal and a clear attempt at getting people to bite. Didn't you just have another thread the other day closed for clearly trying to troll.

How about duchene for mcfleury, bean and a 2018 1st from Carolina. They have hanafin Faulk pesche and slavin in their top 4 for the near future and duchene would help them now. colorado gets 2 defense prospects- which they need and it helps alleviate the pain of butcher not signing with them.

Don't see COL doing this.

Two young top-6 players (one being their captain) and a Bigras who has top-4 potential.

If Duchene is traded at the 2019 TDL for less than a non-bluechip prospect + 2nd I pick your avi for a year, if he is traded for the equivalent of Bellows + 2nd you pick my avi for a year?

The avs already signed Warsofsky to alleviate that "pain".

And colorado doesn't just need any defensive prospects, they need a #1 LHD prospect. They've already got Zadorov, Makar, Meloche, Bigras & Timmins who are all 22 or younger with top 4 talent (or higher); plus there's a handful of solid third pairing prospects (Mironov, Lindholm, Boikov, Anderson).

i doubt very seriously that tavares is basing his decision on whether or not matt bloody duchene is an islander or not.

you are giving duchene credit for having WAAAAAAAAY to much power. do you think that maybe matt could get the ice at the barclays centre fixed too while hes at it?

At this point you're probably right. What faith in his abilities Snow might've been able to save, he's probably squandered away for good by putzing around instead of making a move that gave Tavares a reason to stay.
