He had had an injured ankle to start the season. He was D-D before the match with KalPa. Maybe he felt it after the game against KooKoo.

Management likely said get healthy, go play in Finland with Lundell and see how you do.

I'm sure if he has a decent year, they will re-sign him/offer him a one year prove it deal.
He has an out clause to leave Finland.
Saarela is also a RFA playing in Liiga for Lukko and will likely come to FLA when the season starts up

Yeah, they are qualified and can’t be offer sheeted as far as I know.

There’s really no rush to get our RFAs signed until we know 100% if/when training camp/season will start.
