Does anyone know if there is any place in Edmonton where I can book a gym or indoor court for some indoor ball hockey action? Thanks!

Contact a local rec or community center. Or you can ask Edmonton public schools about renting a gym at a school. You can try phoning the school you want, but the central office handled all the paper work and scheduling.

I used to run karate classes out of an elemantry. EPS was pretty easy to deal with. Dunno bout cost.

I know the Ball Hockey leagues charge 70+/hr for rentals.

However the Jewish Community Center rents it out for like 30/hr I believe.

That is exactly what I was gonna say. EPSB Schools (at least most of them) won't allow wooden sticks. Your best bet is looking for a gym with a concrete floor or rent out a YMCA gym.

You can rent from schools (be prepared to call a lot), but if they allow hockey you will likely need plastic sticks (cheap and easy to get).

we all play in ESSC which only allows plastic sticks so we are fine with that. I didn't know that schools rent out gym! definitely need to check them out
