is Bogosian hurt or has been healthy scratch? Might be a good idea Perry and pavelski are killing us in front of our net
I’d be inclined to go 7D again with Bogo and Schenn back. Clean up in front of our net. Not sure our forward group is still fresh enough to support 11F though.

Idk I think I might rutta one more time in game one we got killed with the speed how slow bogo and schenn were. I’d absolutely replace verhaeghe with stephens though. It’s a tough call but ya perry and pavelski are getting great looks and bounces in front.

If (!) Bogo is healthy I’d go with him instead of Rutta in a heartbeat. Rutta got outmuscled a lot down low and handled the puck like a live grenade all game. 7D would have the benefit of limiting Shattenkirk’s TOI a bit. But speed is a concern with Schenn. So uhh... is Coburn still on the team?

And yeah, Stephens should be a much better fit in a grind fest than CV. Also fits better with Big Rig and Dump Truck imo.

cooper must hate stephens because he would be much better on that line then Verhaeghe.

bogo I won’t mind just don’t do schenn and bogo in a 7 d pair

Watching the goals given up rutta and shattenkirk are absolutely killing us.

I’d agree now put bogo in and idk try to cut shattenkirks mins down more.

My thoughts...

Cooper going Heddy Serge late yesterday was telling. The right side is getting beat. Weak clears from all three.

Do we bring Coburn in for game 6? Definitely risky given he hasn’t played in a while but I kinda like the idea.

Heddy Sergachev-Serge needed to strengthen right side

Mcdonough Cernek-maybe Cernek finds his game with the partner he’s used to

Coburn Shatty with limited minutes

Verhagee needs to be scratched so maybe even 11/7

Mixing up the D seems reasonable. We just need to get this thing over the finish line, and Coburn hasn't played in a while. I'd think they'd rather draw Schenn in.

Funniest part about this is 2015.

We've always thrown a lot of hits. We've just gotten better at playing through other teams hitting (clutching, hooking, holding ) us. (...While also giving it back to them.)
