Bolland injury provides opportunity, pressure for Leafs centres

Dave Bolland was on a roll with the Leafs, and it looked like nothing could stop him. Acquired for his tenacious puck pursuit, solid defensive play and gritty up-tempo approach to the game, the Mimico, Ontario native became something of an offensive catalyst through his first 14 games in Blue and White. Not totally unsurprisingly, it should be noted, but 63 was definitely one of the keys to the Leafs’ success through the first fifth of the season, or so.
