Boll in player development seems like an oxymoron especially in today's NHL. :dunno:

Grinders seem to make the best coaches, and Boller fits right in with Campbell, Clark, and Ruutu.

Especially when you consider how most of our prospects have developed into top 100 NHL players. :sarcasm:

Boll actually had a lot of skill he just did what he had too to stay in the league at a young age. I love the move.

Must have been a quick move to hire Boll. I talked to a guy who golfed with Boll 2 weeks before it was announced and he was planning on coaching young players. No mention of the CBJ being involved. So maybe he was keeping it quiet but he was trying to figure out what to do up to that point.
Boll is a good guy from all accounts I hear, so I'm ok with the move.
