That seriously sucks for Boeds, I hope gets better soon. It will be interesting to see how this effects contract negotiations. Boeds is definitely worthy of a new contract and a raise but he never took that next step needed to hit pay dirt. The spleen thing isn't helping but he was on pace for similar numbers to last year so I think his contract will reflect that of a solid 45-55 point 2 way winger but nothing higher then that. I imagine DM will push for longer term while Boeds agent will likely look for another short term deal in hopes that Boeds can take that next step and get a pay day in a couple of years. It will be interesting to see how it plays out.
