He get icetime in Blues just for justify Army's bad trade of Shattenkirk. Caps has two times laugh to Blues and take away Oshie and Shatternkirk for semi-free. I view he get nicely icetime at Caps to just make him bait for team like Blues, they have known Blues were shipping actively Shattery.

If Sanford can crack our team its good for him. To me how depth our team is I can't see he'll play at Blues max of 10 games in future (next season), only if we see 1-2 injuries bottom 6 role, which in Blues case is really possibility.


I really don't believe Sanford has future in Blues, not even bottom 6 role. He'll be AHL'er at Rampage or he'll get traded for something in package. I hope so.
