It started when Binnington had a chance to freeze the puck at the far post and decided to play it to the corner.

I have no problem with that play. Parayko had all kinds of time to pick his head up and make a play. Instead, he just blindly threw the puck up the middle.

Ditto for Schwartz on the first goal.

Thing is, this was entirely preventable. But we just can’t stop ourselves from blindly throwing pucks away.

One of the more deserved losses I've seen in a while. Something like the last 10 clearing attempts of the game went DIRECTLY to a Islander defenseman, just sitting at the blue line picking cherries. We made it very easy for them and they took advantage. Great comeback by the Isles, they should be thankful for our terrible final 5 minutes.
