They keep Hutton and trade for Kinkaid or Grubauer/Holtby, then trade Allen away in exchange for an effective player for their team to a team that needs goaltending.

I'll just say Allen to either Washington or Buffalo.

Buffalo should get Allen and improve in the standings. Lehner should be the backup.

There is no reason to trade the core when we have the capspace to realistically buy whatever we need. What we need to do is to dump the glut of bottom six talent we got, send them on their way and make move for new acquisitions and kids coming up and ready to play.
