That tripping earlier on Boro getting puck first, the rule changed a few years ago which is BS. Used to be a no trip, now it doesn't matter if puck is first.

actually for 95+ years, it did. the rule changed a few seasons ago.

what is the ottawa defender supposed to do? let anderson just skate free for a breakaway? come on, man. common sense.

Not trip him and you just admitted the rule was called correctly so I don’t understand what point you are trying to make

Both teams probably made a gentleman’s agreement to trade goals. That way the boxscore doesn’t look as sad

That shift was Duclair’s season in a nutshell. Horrible defensive play that almost allowed Ottawa to score and it ends up in a prime breakaway chance.
