My 11 year old daughter is waayy into Greek mythology (and all the Percy Jackson / Rick Riordan books). I am guessing this is inappropriate for kids?

So, this show, Castlevania, and Avatar The Last Airbender all are anime even though they're American made?

It's a little odd but I don't see why not. 'Anime' has enough global reception that if someone else wants to make something similar it shouldn't require some purity test that it be made in Japan to be called such.

It's gruesome as hell. Not 11 year appropriate, imo...
