Geoffrion answering questions from reporters about a potential return.

To summarize:
-Says he's definitely not retiring and his heart is set on coming back.
-He's meeting with doctors regularly but no decision has been made about if or when he'll be able to come back.
-Feels better every day but wouldn't go into detail about what symptoms he was experiencing.
-Hopes to get the green light from doctors soon to start working out or making steps toward a return.
-He's been at home in Chicago taking it easy and watching all the Habs games, happy for Galchenyuk's progress and keeps in touch with some of the guys, namely Pacioretty and Palushaj.
-Says Cote called him after his surgery to apologize which Geoffrion appreciated but he (Geoffrion) said it was a clean hit and that he was mad at himself for not seeing it coming.

Sad story, lets hope for a happy ending

Not anymore! He's doing well compared to months ago.
This could be a great set-up for a comeback!!
I would just take it slowly at first...there's next season and I'd aim for that, only...if he gets the full green light. Health no.1.
And if pro hockey is over...there's always scouting, coaching,etc...
No.1 is...he seems to be in good spirits and looks very healthy.

go Geoffrion go!!
