No set lineup yet. Really all depends on if they are good with playing Murphy in back to backsBlender time. Couple of fairly new lines and a Kalynuk sighting. According to NST.. .
Janmark/Kurashev/Kubalik - played ~4 min together
Hagel/Soderberg/Wallmark ~ never played together
Zadorov/Mitchell - ~32 min together
I think they're going to roll with 7 D for a while. They have to hope that CdH can get his shit together before the TDL so they can get him on his merry way.No set lineup yet. Really all depends on if they are good with playing Murphy in back to backs
Probable yes.I think they're going to roll with 7 D for a while. They have to hope that CdH can get his shit together before the TDL so they can get him on his merry way.
Would really like pp2 to become the first optionI’d love to see Kurashev on the first power play. He’s got some slick mitts and he can also dig the puck out of the corners. Hopefully the Carpenter experiment is over.

Yeah it's an issue. If they can't move him, then it would be prudent of them to just sit him once they have forward options again. If you're a GM and have caught any of De Haan's games this year and you take on that deal at the deadline with one more year attached you should be walked out of the building immediately...
Yeah it's an issue.
Hopefully Seattle takes him as a flip candidate.best case is probably the Hawks make playoffs, are competitive in a series or two and De Haan plays well and they can convine some team to take him in the summer with one year left for no retained money and maybe get a pick.
Hopefully Seattle takes him as a flip candidate.
Don’t see Seattle taking him or him having any suitors at the deadlineI think they're going to roll with 7 D for a while. They have to hope that CdH can get his shit together before the TDL so they can get him on his merry way.
I think they're going to end up taking Carlsson personally, unless the Hawks expose Strome.believe this was Vegas strategy, take on a bunch of one year deals to maximize cap space in year 2 and allow them to accumilate picks at the deadline, they just randomly were good and that plan was sort of thrown out the window but Seattle could definitely go that route, guess it depends on the cap ceiling and what they can get as far as nhl talent
Don’t see Seattle taking him or him having any suitors at the deadline
Think the hawks retain and trade him for a low return in the offseason

If the Hawks go with 7-3-1, then Carlsson and de Haan are pretty much Seattle's only reasonable ED options.
It all depends on who Seattle takes from other teams, remember they still have to reach the cap floor as well.especially if the cap remains the same, look at what nate schmidt and murray returned last year, much better than de haan and almost no return, de haan will probably need to be bought out or retained at 50% at a minimum plus maybe throw in a pick or prospect...De Haan has been terribly inconsistent this year, no idea how they move his contract
