In all seriousness this should teach the caps you have to bring it every game. This is the nhl. Teams will best you if you don’t play for 2 periods (or more).

Playing a team with a bad record
Playing a team that is hungry for a win
Korpisalo with a 96.8% SV, 1.26 GAA in 2 games against the Caps before this game
Lines changed up all over again
Playing Boston on Wednesday
Etc etc

Shouldn't take away from this Blue Jackets team, they came out to play tonight. But yea, we weren't winning this one

All in all it is just 1 game and the Caps just came off a 3 game West Coast trip. So not really the best effort tonight. Good job put together by Columbus though.
