Agostino is clearly an NHL player right now, he has fit in well here and was a bubble player before coming here. I don't think Carrick cuts it on an NHL roster, guy is putrid defensively.

Carrick is an NHL defender albeit a very mediocre one. Not much different than Santini just more mobile, in my opinion.

Rooney probably would not have gotten an extended look but he does look like he may have carved out a role as a 4C for next year.

Carrick is an NHL defender albeit a very mediocre one. Not much different than Santini just more mobile, in my opinion.

Rooney probably would not have gotten an extended look but he does look like he may have carved out a role as a 4C for next year.

Neither Carrick or Santini are NHL quality defensemen. If you're playing those two guys, you're in trouble.

Carrick is a fine bottom pairing guy, nothing great, but a fine bottom pairing guy.

Santini wishes he was a mediocre NHL defender. He's not even NHL caliber. He's like a really crappy and really bad version of Adam Larsson. And he doesn't even get matched up against players that are any good at even strength.
