Good job. I don't really know a lot about Hodgson but everything I read seems really favourable. Thus, I couldn't/shouldn't really complain about the pick and it's the best choice at that spot.

However...

this year's man crush winner is Colin Wilson. My hope is that someone reaches (in my mind) for Myers or Beach and one of the higher ranked guys falls to Vancouver. Wilson is the guy I'm really rooting for.

If Filatov is available at 5, I don't think the Isles would pass on him even though I think Schenn would be a great pick.

I think Schenn would be a great pick also, with Rick in net for another what, 13 years? I figured he would need a solid defense in front of him and the Isles could form themselves in a defensive mold with a great defender like Schenn and Rick in the net. Then build out from there with their franchise goalie and d-man.
