Of course, I watched those games. Italians pulling down on Koreans. Spain being caught offside most of the time.

Luck followed slightly, but South Korean efforts and skill should never go unnoticed.
Those games against Spain and Italy, where a disgrace to the sport..

And pianfully obvious they were rigged.

However I agree, it was a skilled SKorea team.

I don't really view '14 Chile v Spain as an upset. Chile went on to win back-to-back Copa Americas and Spain just weren't very good at the time. Chile were arguably the best South American team at the time, they should have beaten Brazil in the last 16 of the WC and they beat Argentina twice in the Copa finals. Nobody would call it an upset if Argentina had beaten Spain.

A lot of the games listed are not even close to being big upsets. How is Croatia beating Germany in 98 a huge upset? Did you see the players Croatia had then and the results they had in the couple of years before?

How is Denmark beating France a huge huge upset? They had a lot of quality players, the same with Chile in 2014 those are not huge upsets at all even Nigeria over Spain 1998 isn't a upset at all. Spain did nothing during those days and Nigeria had great results in 1994 1996 Olympics and had a lot of good players.

Russia defeating an old and past it Spain at home on penalties is an upset but nothing huge there.

Huge is 1954Hungary 1966NorthKorea for sure, then Senegal over France in 2002. South Korea this year is up there but people just saw Germany lose to Mexico and barely escaping Sweden on a referee gift.

Sweden getting to the final this year will suprise a lot of young people. But for people old enough to remember anything before 1994, not really.

I had a lot of talks with people about soccer around here and most people from america dont seem to know just how good Sweden have been.

We have more medals than England, Spain and Belgium COMBINED.

We have knocked out Germany, Italy, Netherlands and Switzerland already, more to come ladies and gentlemen.
