I don’t know how to write it because North American’s say their A’s and E’s differently.

You’re English though aren’t you so you’d know. What’s your accent?

Mine is more of a Brummie accent, or rather "Birmingham" for you non brits. My accent comes and goes at this point, you sort of hear it when you hear me talk long enough.

I don’t have a thick accent but where the a’s are emphasised it’s quite noticeable. Car, bar etc

I was on a work site and the site supervisor was called Gram. I thought that’s a weird name until I saw his business card and his name was Graham. Pronounced way different

Don't know honestly. My daughter loves it though hahah. It's kitchy. I even sing the damn thing. It goes through pronouncing eat apples and banana's by starting (E)at (A)pple (B)anana's using the vowels.

You're a very lucky person.

@shoplifter That God damn song is stuck in my head now too. The next time you go to eat something I hope you choke just a wee bit.

I YouTubed it. It’s The Wiggles . That ones an awful song. By tomorrow I’ll be saying it isn’t that bad, Sunday I’ll be saying it’s good and Monday it’ll be on repeat at work.

I saw a bunch of fursuiters walking around Pittsburgh when driving downtown, I forgot Anthrocon is this weekend. I'm jealous of them tbh, I'd love to have a hobby that I'm as passionate about as they are with that. I'm glad Pittsburgh hosts Anthrocon.

Yo man, that's a weird hobby tho.

Honestly, I don't view fursuiters and cosplayers to be that different, and my sister really getting into cosplay further my thought that cosplay isn't anything weird. I don't see any problems with it, if you enjoy it and it doesn't hurt anyone, I'm all for it.

I feel like a lot of those types of communities get a bad rep due to a couple of bad examples of people taking it too far. Most of them are just normal people who like doing things like dressing up like an anthropomorphic fox or a video game character. Even in other hobbies, with groups like weebs (not saying that as a derogatory term, I watch a bunch of anime shows) or bronies, most are just normal people who like a certain TV show or a certain genre of TV shows. Then you have the weird ass people joining those fandoms and doing stuff like marrying a technicolor horse plushie, and those people give a bad rep for the rest of the normal part of those groups.

 What is it that they do at the convention? I’m confused!

Mikey and Big Bob, who host probably the most popular morning radio show in Pittsburgh, do a rundown of the events at Anthrocon each year. Honestly, it sounds pretty fun, or at least they have quite a few fun events

I looked up the 2017 schedule, just on the first full day, they had a poker tournament, Smash Bros Melee tournament, Price is Right game, Mario Kart, astronomy events (this one surprised me, they had a star party at the observatory on their first day) and a dance party. There's also a lot of other convention type things, too, I just mentioned the things that stuck out as not furry related things.

Oh shit son, you just popped a can of pringles of a rant just now...

I absolutely hate Cosplayers. It's become this f***ed up thing where women now bait men into paying for some stupid patreon tiers thing and its literally baiting. They show you a few pics, then they show you a few more with less clothes, guys are pervs, we just are. Porn is also an addiction and so is being a sex addict, a lot of these people are already overly desensitized to real life sex and get off on these baiting weirdo's that want to dress like a cartoon rabbit getting naked for "lewds" as the clowns like to call it.

Sure, there are some that do Cosplay because they love a character, but man, 9 times out of 10, the character these women love are the most half naked sexualized characters in gaming/anime/cartoon existence. These guys have ruined it for me to even see the best Cosplays, like I love an amazing Gears of War, Halo, or even some other games and characters Cosplays, but then there are these "thots" that show up and just get half naked and just crap all over it. I am a huge comic book dork, I go to these Conventions to meet the artists and sometimes buy art work and some comics as well, but when I see these idiots, it just makes me so angry.

It's like you can have 100 amazing characters in a game, there's 1 "thot" as these kids call them these days, that is half naked, guess which character 99% of the female cosplayers pick?

Your sister definitely isn't one of these a-holes, but man, it's such an annoyance for me. I browse Imgur, all I see is that shit on it now, if I wanted to see that crap, I'd join reddit and some really twisted subreddits.

I know exactly what you're talking about because I'm still subscribed to r/gaming on reddit. I know the exact kind of posts you're complaining about because those are always the cosplays that shoot up to being #1 on the sub. And since reddit is just filled with those weirdo pervs for the most part, those posts consistently shoot up.

I don't have cosplayers because of that, not do I hate the cosplayers that do what you say. That's not just a cosplay thing, just off the top of my head, I know of twitch streamers that have been accused of stuff like that. It's stuff like that becoming overly sexualized just because the demographic really responds to it, and that's the most polite way I can say that.

I did just say that most communities get a bad rep from their bad eggs, but I do think there are some communities who just suck. I don't want to put all of gaming in that, but there are multiple communities within the gaming genre that are just awful.

Anyone have any recommendations on a vacuum cleaner? I need a really strong one for dog hair.

First summer in my new place and it’s a bit warmer than my previous places. One of my dogs is shedding like crazy!

I've heard Sharks are good but I don't have personal experience with them yet.
