Price is still one of the best goalies in the world, his issue is he is stupid overpaid on a death contract.

Bob has had a rough year of extreme lows and extreme highs, he isn't close to Price atm imo and the fact they he will also possibly be signing a stupid overpaid death contract some where makes this one an easy call. Bob also has the giant red flag of being one of the worst playoff goalies in the league, which you can evaluate how you like.

If I was given an option to take neither, due to their deals, that is what I would choose.

Price's D core for the first two months of the year:

Benn - Petry
Alzner - Reilly
Ouellet - Mete

Since Jan 1:

SV%: .928% (3rd)
GAA: 2.20 (3rd)

The only two goalies to beat him out were Binnington and Kuemper and we both know that they aren't better than him. He's also been the most leaned upon goalie. He's played nearly every game for the past two months. Don't bring up Thomas Greiss.
