No disrespect to Barzal, he’s great and I was very high on him going into the 2015 draft, but Pettersson definitely has better hands. Watch a few of the videos above.

Barzal has pretty slick hands, and when combined with his superior skating ability, can do some pretty nifty things with the puck. But Pettersson has the better pure hands. He's on another level with his ability to move the puck around and create opportunities with his stickhandling and hand-eye coordination...even while basically working in a phonebooth at a near standstill.
