Yeah, for some reason unbeknownst to me, NHL decided that for standings purposes, a shootout win counts as an extra goal for.

It's dumb, and it means that you have to go to the team stats page to find how many goals teams actually scored.

Except that Toronto was tied for 3rd (with the Pens) at 270.

Winnipeg has 273, Tampa had 290.

You forgot that the NHL standings add a GF for every SO win (and a GA for every SO loss).

Shootout goals for don't count because no player actually gets credit for that goal. Offense, as I'd assume this thread is asking about, is based on the players and how much they produce. SO goals don't affect any player's totals, so shouldn't be included.
