It is early, but it is impossible to deny that Makar looks like a future Norris candidate.

Provorov is very underrated if he doesn't go next round. He is our 1D since day one and didn't missed a regular season game ever since.

He had a down year offensively with only 26 points (including 7 ES goals) but he was arguably playing heavier minute than ANY other defenseman.

Here's a look of Provorov usage compare to all players with +25 min/avg ice time.

Legit surprised Makar dropped this far.
Who would you have picked him over? Personally I think this is a fair spot since alot of this is ranking on pure potential and projection. It's not like any of the guys picked above him are slouches. Alot of great defense left on the board aswell.

Provorov

Add Filip Hronek. 23 points in 46 games in the NHL to go along with 24 in 31 in the AHL. The guy will surprise a lot of people next year. He's a name to watch for the Czechs at the Worlds, I suspect many people will start to realize just how good, and the potential he has.

If the cutoff is the 2012 draft, does that mean any player drafted that year is eligible, or they would have to be 18 years old in that draft? Because you’re missing Parayko and Gostisbehere if it’s just the 2012 draft itself being the cutoff.
