All-time best/hated for the Leafs has to be Larry Murphy. He was slightly overpaid and the team was garbage, but he was definitely the scapiest of goats.

In general Leaf fans tend to not appreciate their best players and love terrible ones for some reason. I wouldn't be surprised if a poll of Kessel vs. Colton Orr was really close.
