Equipment: best way to clean old hockey bag?

I bought myself a used hockey bag off of ebay, got a pretty good deal but the bag is a wee bit stinky.

What's the best way to get rid of the smell/bacteria? Would soaking it for an hour in a bathtub of 10 percent bleach solution do the trick?

You can hose it down with some cleaning solution(s)/soap, throw it in the wash, etc.

Along with cleaning solutions, stick it outside. If it smells like you say it does, it's probably been kept closed and full of stinky gear for awhile.
