Best sports video game to purchase?

Football Manager is probably the best sports game I've ever purchased. The yearly versions become increasingly the same, but if you've never played it at all then I highly recommend it and if you love football, then it is a must get.

NBA Jam is still my reigning champion, even as someone that played on salty developer hard mode by playing as the Bulls.

Followed closely by the old NFL Blitz games.

I have played two NBA Jam games one from Nintento Wii and the first one from the SNES. The SNES one I like more and I would put it at my favorite sport game of all time.

I actually really enjoyed NHL 19. I’ve had more issues getting into NHL20 though because I’m constantly taking charging and tripping penalties which kills the flow of the game. I haven’t even bothered with 21.

personally, I’d suggest picking up Fifa next as I’ve always had a good time with it.

It's been the same game for years. I would argue it is one of the worst yearly releases in the sports genre tbh...

NHL is worse

Madden is still fun. I openly admit they barely make any changes but NHL has had the same franchise since 16. That's hard to do.

MLB the show is great if you’re on PlayStation. I like FIFA a lot too. I’m not really even much of a fan of those sports either. Just fun games.
