So who have been the best players (at each position) at this point in the tournament?

Anders Bastiansen has carried Norway on his shoulders offensively this tournament, and Jonas Holøs and Tollefsen has laid down some heavy ice-time in defence.

I haven't followed the draft too much lately, but is he NHL property?

Draft? Tollefsen (25) already has 6 years of NHL-experience, five with the Blue Jackets and one as a Flyer. But he's injury prone, all looked good when the Flyers signed him, but it became a season of injuries. Too bad for him.

Radulov is clearly the best player from Russian team.

Ladislav Nagy is the best from Slovakian team.

Mikael Granlund, Jarkko Immonen and Ossi Väänänen has been the best ones from Team Finland so far, and by far.

Robert Kristan is probably the best player for Slovenia. Has 94,85 SVS% (ranked 4th), which is the most among goalkeepers who faced over 100 shots until now (129/137 saves).

Rafael Diaz is the best for Switzerland.

Yeah Diaz has been great. I`ve noticed him before as well. He could get an NHL-chance could he not ? Korbinian Holzer has been great for Germany, he looks like a very good future 5-6 NHL D-man. Robert Kristan in the Slovenian net has also been good and probably kept his team up already with yesterdays game against Latvia. I also like Slovenias Roc Ticar, he should be an interesting player for many DEL and SEL clubs.

For Norway Bastiansen, Olimb and Tollefsen has been lights out. Goalie Lars Haugen has also been exellent.

Um, Rankel plays forward?
Anyway, even so, I would say our best d-man is Holzer. Not flashy, not seen on the scoreboard, but he is the glue to our defence IMO.

Finland:

Goalie: Teemu Lassila
Defence: Lasse Kukkonen
Forward: Mika Pyörälä
:sarcasm:

Nah, but seriously Granlund has been by far the best Finn in the tourney thus far. If he had decent snipers in his line he'd have a lot more points.

Interesting top ten list, dominated by Norway, and no player from team USA present :amazed:
