Charlie Coyle was a free agent signee for Saint John. He was never drafted in the QMJHL.

Not sure if that's what your asking though.

Moncton had some decent free agents when they hosted the Memorial Cup. Andrew MacDonald is the most notable player.

I'm pretty sure Giroux was invited to Gatineau's camp as a free agent
