Are The Raid and The Raid: Redemption the same movie? I'd vote for Redemption if it was an option.

The Tree of Life was a coffee-table book movie that I just wanted to slap around. What's pretentious about making an autobiographical movie about the evolution of the cosmos that culminates with you and your estranged old man being reunited in heaven (a golden shore, who would've thought)? I liked the cameo by Raptor Jesus though.

Disappointed to see Warrior hasn't even been mentioned.

Great movie. You go in expecting a typical sports film and the actual story takes it over.

I liked Shame and Drive a lot, Carey Mulligan is great in both films. If I have to pick one of those as a favorite it's probably the former film because it has a topic that's closer to reality. It's way more likely you're an internet porn addict than a pretty boy autistic getaway driver.

On that list Bridesmaids was also a good film.

I'm surprised Moneyball is so popular, but I also realize I'm on a North American sports forum. I thought it was an okay film at best.

Adored Drive.

I watched this with my gf at the theatre and she adored the elevator scene, in its entirety.

Best part of Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy (good film on the whole) for me is probably the music.

Based on what I saw both Midnight in Paris and The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo would be tough to choose between. Have seen both many times and still enjoy them. Have yet to see The Artist though.
