Best Defense Core Possible

Build the best defense core possible, in your opinion of course. I chose the cap space used in the rules because it was the average money spent on defensemen on the top ten teams for lowest GA/GP in the NHL.

Rules:
- $20,456,236 or below
- You must have 7 defenseman
- Limited to only one ELC
- No two way contracts (ELC not included)

Hedman(4M) - Weber(7.857M)
Muzzin(1M) - Giordano(4.02M)
Ekblad(925k) - Braun(1.25M)
Martinez(1.1M)

He's a total fill in but there's not a whole lot of cheap RD's. I was hoping for someone more defensive but he's about as good as it gets if i want to keep the rest intact.

Fixed that.

I think Keith is superior to Hedman and McDonagh is debatable. I had Hedman in there at first but replaced him to fit under the cap.

yea theyre both great players but before Hedman got injured he was fantastico both offensively and defensively. awesome value for 4M, cant go wrong with McD and Keith either tho.

Braun is the Sharks' best defenseman defensively after Vlasic.

I feel like he's looked a little shaky in the games i've seen him play but i suppose he was taking pretty tough assignments.
