The Brulé hit ranks at #1 among those imo. It was clean, hard, coming of nowhere and unsuspected. It gave the WHL team so tempo too, right at the beginning of the game. I think that those are momentum hits. Especially when it comes from skilled forwards.

Bodychecking is one of the skills he is very good at. Too bad he had the Flu and couldn't play much after that hit.

What's most impressive about that hipcheck is that it was an open ice one rather then the fairly common ones along the boards.
