Mackinnon is starting to get a reputation for big game performer right?

10 points in 7 games as an 18 year old in his first go round of the playoffs. 3 Points in 2 games so far this year(Although in losing efforts he was still a huge factor).

Not to mention his performance for Team North America in the World Cup a couple years ago, his regular season performance this year in the big divisional rival games against Minnesota and the final regular season "win and your in" game.

Think he's building a solid case that should only get stronger as the Avs get more and more competitive in the coming years.

I'm surprised how few mentions there are of Mr. Golden Goal and 2x Conn Smythe, Sidney Crosby

I have a feeling that MacKinnon will put himself on these list after the next two games in Denver. He's at 13 points in 9 games in his playoff career, dominated the mem cup in junior, and lead the league in GWGs this year. If he posts a couple multi-point games to get the avs back into the series, then he should start getting that big-game hype.

couture is a pretty low key big game performer. losing in the finals makes people overlook his 30 point playoffs.

Tyler Johnson's never gonna get a lot of hype in threads like these, but not a lot of guys are putting up the type of numbers he has in the post-season.

Apparently nobody watched the playoffs last year. Erik Karlsson carried team on his back.

Laine has potential for it, aside from having 2 goals and one assist in 2 playoff games, he's good a good track record for a teenager:

He won the MVP award in the Liiga playoffs:

Liiga playoffs last minute goal to tie the game in the finals.

Liiga playoffs last second goal:

Laine bringing the Jets back from the 0-4 death just to finish the hattrick in OT:

Laine scored in the final game against Russia in the WJC but I can't find a video on that other than a general highlights package.
Finland won gold in the WJC and his line was the main piece in it.

He won the MVP award in the WHCs after Finland finished with a silver medal a couple of years ago.

Laine definitely has the potential. Just gives off that hyper confident "will get it done when it needs to be done" vibe.

Laine seems to thrive under pressure.
Karlsson
Malkin
Crosby
Johnson
Keith (Well maybe not any longer but yea)
Fleury from time to time. I dont get a clutch feeling watching him most of the time but damn he turns it up high in the POs when he is healthy
Especially Johnson comes to mind. Always seem to be dangerous in the POs
