I'd like to see more than 6 points in 8 career games before mentioning him in a thread like this.Soon to be Marner.
I'm surprised how few mentions there are of Mr. Golden Goal and 2x Conn Smythe, Sidney Crosby

Now that you mention it, it is interesting that's there's only 1 Canadian on the list. This doesn't fit with the non caring Russian/soft Euro narrative. Pls delete.
Laine has potential for it, aside from having 2 goals and one assist in 2 playoff games, he's good a good track record for a teenager:
He also won the MVP award in the Liiga playoffs:
Liiga playoffs last minute goal to tie the game in the finals.
Liiga playoffs last second goal:
Laine bringing the Jets back from the 0-4 death just to finish the hattrick in OT:
Laine scored in the final game against Russia in the WJC but I can't find a video on that other than a general highlights package.
Finland won gold in the WJC and his line was the main pieces in it.
He won the MVP award in the WHCs after Finland finished with a silver medal a couple of years ago.
