The Electorate has absolutely killed it the last several votes!

For me to try to weigh in on 2007, though, kind of reminds me about Shostakovich's alleged quip about his 'Symphony #12 [The Year 1917],' widely thought to be among his worst. He reputedly excused his sub-standard effort by saying "the subject-matter provided resistance."

(My subjective feeling being that 2007 contains [lots of] subject-matter that provides resistance.)
