It’s tough to pick a top album this year. There have been some good releases but nothing has really stood out. My most listened to I think have been Snail Mail, Iceage, Denzel Curry and Tash Sultana.

I’ve been listening to Courtney Barnett’s new album more and it’s been growing on me.

Really disappointed I didn't hear the Gost album until this week. That thing is a banger. Def in my top 10.

Don’t know how but Christine and the Queens completely flew under my radar.

This song rules. Whole album is really good.

I really feel like Beyondless by Iceage really was underrated this year. The horns and orchestra in this album really gives it a dramatic feel. I'm drawn to different sounding music and this album really hits that I think.

Most of the year I found I was switching between Lush and Be The Cowboy the most. I do need to go back and give that Janelle Monae album a solid listen.

1. Be The Cowboy - Mitski
2. Lush - Snail Mail
3. Beyondless - Iceage
4. 7 - Beach House
5. A Breukelen Story - Marco Polo and Masta Ace

My Top 5:

1. Collection One - SAINt JHN
2. Tha Carter V - Lil Wayne
3. Kids See Ghosts - Kids See Ghosts
4. Beerbongs and Bentleys - Post Malone
5. Testing - A$AP Rocky

Some others that I enjoyed, Oxnard(Anderson. Paak), NOIR(Smino), DROGAS WAVE(Lupe Fiasco)

I saw a massive transformation in my musical taste this year. From almost exclusively indie rock or indie folk to now almost exclusively Hip-Hop and rap.
