Tell me about this HHOFer, seeing as I never saw him play and, based purely on his stats, can't understand why he never played in the Canada Cup.

As for him never making team Canada, it's simply because he was never one of Canada's four best centers. He wasn't as good as Trottier, Gretzky, Lemieux, Hawerchuk, or Savard. He also wasn't the ideal checking center so guys like Sutter and Gilmour got lower-line spots over him.

What the hell? Why is there a duplicate of my thread? Can a moderator please merge them? Thank you.
