People in here are talking about Drouin, but it would seem like the easy move for him would be to trade Scherbak, which is what I've been expecting since the Galchenyuk trade.

I'll be very, very surprised if he trades Drouin. It would be a bad look considering he traded Sergachev for Drouin.

Fowler is a top 10 D... No way we get fowler for Drouin alone ( even if ducks should trade for forwards)

Not to be a smartass but what exactly is the mold of the team?

They are playing a style very similar to Vegas last year (aggressive on the forecheck, quick transition, etc.) and honestly, I have to admit that they are impressive.

Drouin is the only one that hasn't yet embrace that style. He often loses the puck by trying to beat everybody by himself instead of being at the service of his teammates.

I write on mobile too but I don't go around spewing things like Drouin being an elite center, or even one of the best forwards in the league because he's simply not. Drouin is a top-6 winger. That's what he is. He's not elite and he never will be -- and I know he's still young but I feel confident in that statement, too.

His best season came from playing on a stacked Tampa team where more than half of his points came on their potent powerplay. He's not a play driver.

Who do you think he's better than if you think he's "one of the best forwards in the league?" I'm genuinely curious.
