Olympics: Bergeron played entire tournament injured

Not using an excuse, but Bergeron hurt his groin the first shift of the first game and played the entire tournament with a groin injury. He missed the first two games after the break.

This is the reason for his demoted role and his sub-par play. Showed a lot of heart IMO.

This was said on the bruins pre-game btw.

Makes sense but I think a bigger reason for his demoted role is the fact that he started the tournament on Canada's first line when there's 51 Canadian forwards with more points then him. The demotion was inevitable. The injury though doesn't really surprise me. Maybe it's just me but he seemed a step slower than his usual pace.
