Berger speculates based on "sources" that Dubas is after Parayko and is willing to offer up Offence from the forward position.

Are Leafs, Blues Talking?

Scouting report on Parayko (last year his ATOI was 22:37, that would have put him 1st on the leafs slightly ahead of Jake):

COLTON PARAYKO

#55 • D
  • Status: Off season
  • Height: 6'6
  • Weight: 230 lbs.
  • Shoots: R
  • Experience: 3 years
  • Birthdate: May 12, 1993
  • Birthplace: St. Albert, Alta.
  • Drafted: Drafted by St. Louis in 2012 (3/86)

SCOUTING REPORT
ASSETS:
Has excellent size, good mobility and plenty of offensive acumen from the back end. Displays all-around ability and can log a lot of minutes. His shot is deadly from the point.
FLAWS:
Is still a bit raw and unrefined in most areas of the game, so he needs to fully hone his skills to maximize output in the NHL. Could also stand to be more physical and imposing.
CAREER POTENTIAL:
Big, talented, all-round defenseman with some upside.

Dont think HB is realiable. Who would we be giving up? None of our now big 5 are going anywhere. As dubas said..they can and will sign all 3 RFAs.

There's no reason to give up Willie..if that's what you're suggesting.

Why does HF give Berger any credibility with him having his own Title tag...

Click bait, trade would never happen, Blues have no interest in moving Parayko anyway.

Berger's full time job, is now funeral director's assistant at a mortuary.

I know what you mean but I think it has more to do with having posters be aware that any specific thread tagged with Berger or Eklund and you should tread lightly due to what everyone already knows. Fans know what Berger & Eklund want and its clicks, don't feed them. Just ignore.

Umm what's the poll question asking?

It's like asking " is Colton parakyo better than Connor Carrick?"

Like, no shit, obviously he makes our defense better...

He would, but I'm not expecting a deal to be imminent. I'm sure GMs discuss plenty of players and permutations of trades. For a variety of reasons, most of those talks don't fully materialize, even if team strength and team need appear to line up.

The suggestion is laughable. People (Berger) don't understand how good Parayko is. They just look at what he is and what he can do for the Leafs with no regard for the Blues and what their plans are.
